A major factor in all such efforts is the rational, fast and real-time recording, processing, communicating and storing the resource that is information.

In this connection, RFID transponder technology offers a considerable potential for rationalisation and added value. The actual benefit of RFID technology is that the software systems (e. g. SAP, SQL, Navision, etc.) are supplied automatically and practically in real time with the radio-emitted RFID data for planning and controlling industrial production and logistical processes.

The result is more process safety as well as a greater information availability.
