Member log-in: How do I reset my password or update my email address?

Your user account allows you and your colleagues to access a multitude of research, special reports, databases, executive summaries and member-only areas of the WAN-IFRA website – and update your profile in the members’ directory.

What are the criteria for membership?


News Publishing companies and Technology and Services Suppliers can apply for a corporate membership. Corporate membership allows each employee of the member company to benefit from the membership advantages. Membership fees are decided by the Board and ratified by the General Assembly of Members. Annual fees for national associations are fixed by the Board. Criteria for the corporate membership classification is the total no. of employees (FTEs) working for the company and its subsidiaries and shareholder activities (> 50%) worldwide – it excludes staff working for audiovisual activities of the company and distribution staff. WAN-IFRA also offers fixed individual membership packages and affiliate membership packages for academia, education centres, and other supporting institutions. What is the duration of my membership?

Membership is annual. It is automatically renewed unless a notification of resignation is received in writing at least six months before the end of the financial year, and at the latest by the end of June. Email us for more details about your membership status.

How can I attend the General Assembly of Members?

WAN-IFRA convenes the General Assembly of members once a year in an ordinary meeting. It is usually held on the occasion of the annual World News Media Congress. More information about our calendar can be found here.
