Manjiri Carey is News Editor of the BBC’s innovation incubator News Labs. Together with a team of engineers and experienced journalists, she identifies and prototypes technical solutions to workflow problems for newsrooms and develops audience enhancements. She’s also involved in the BBC’s generative AI discovery programme and has a particular interest in how the technology can help the industry better serve marginalised communities.
