Patty Michalski joined Hearst in April 2022 as SVP of Content and Innovation with the Newspaper group, focused on driving growth, engagement and innovation for our premium newsrooms. She oversees the new DevHub central content team, a group of journalists that builds templates, innovative experiences, visual projects and helps support newsrooms with training and strategy on platforms and digital tools. In that role, Patty works closely with editors and teams in all our markets on their strategies and efforts to amplify and drive growth and engagement to grow consumer revenue. Prior to Hearst, she has been in the digital news industry for more than 20 years, most of that time with USA TODAY. In her final role there she was Executive Editor, overseeing content teams, audience teams on driving daily coverage, engagement and planning efforts.
