Prof. Dr. Luciano Morganti is a project coordinator and senior researcher at the Studies in Media, Innovation and Technology (SMIT) department of Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and has been publishing and working on European and national projects for more than 25 years. He is a Programme Coordinator of the European co-funding scheme for media organisations Stars4Media NEWS and has been coordinating previously the Stars4Media Pilot and Second Edition. He teaches courses related to the European Public Sphere and participation, Media in the EU, EU policies for the Media Sector and New Media.
