Rodney is Head of Product and Audience for The National Trust for Local News, which owns over 60 small newsrooms across the U.S. He served as the Chief Product Officer of The Texas Tribune for eight years. During his tenure, he spearheaded the Tribune’s esteemed Revenue Lab, aiding news organizations nationwide in discovering new revenue streams and expanding their audiences. With a proven track record of founding and successfully selling two startups, Rodney has also been instrumental in driving digital transformation within traditional media. An active member of the digital journalism community, Rodney serves on the board of the Online News Association and co-chairs the Online Journalism Awards.
