SHYAM SHANKER is the Director of Business & Commercial, Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) India. In this role, Shyam provides leadership and direction to BCCL’s sourcing and supply chain. Shyam is responsible for ~ Rs 2,000 cr spend spanning across Newsprint, CapEx, IT & Telecom, Logistics, Projects, Outsourcing, Consumable and Service categories. The remit spreads across the Group companies of Times in the media business of Newspaper, Television, Radio, Digital and outdoors. Shyam is an educated mechanical engineer.
