A World Printers Forum webinar (15:00 CET)

Registration

Due to unforeseen technical issues we needed reschedule this World Printers Forum webinar to later this month, 26 march 15-16 CET. This webinar is about Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is a way of reporting measuring various factors of Environmental, Social and Governance impact companies may have. Dr. Michael Has was a speaker at the World Printers Summit in Frankfurt last year. Further information about this topic.

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a European initiative replacing the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD), aiming to improve corporate reporting on sustainability. Companies previously reporting under NFRD must submit the ESRS-Report for the 2024 financial year in 2025. New companies meeting size criteria will be included annually from the 2025 financial year.

While CSRD mandates reporting entities, it doesn’t dictate content or structure, which has been specified in the Delegated Regulation of the ESRS by the European Commission on July 31, 2023. This reporting’s significance lies in the fact that it has to be seen as equally important as financial reporting, impacting (ESG) and credit ratings plus investor attractiveness. Violations may incur fines ranging from 50,000 euros to 10 million euros or up to 5% of the annual group global turnover.
