Puneet Jain comes with 15+ years of rich corporate experience across consumer internet and management consulting. He has proven track record of building and scaling large consumer tech businesses in India as well as advising large corporates on their growth agenda.

Puneet is currently the CEO of HT Digital (2020 – till date), the digital arm of the venerable HT media group. During his stint so far, he has grown the digital news business to significant revenue and profitability levels. In this period, he scaled HT Digital’s user reach to 200mn+ monthly users, launched several new content offerings, expanded reach in the vernacular space, scaled digital subscriptions and spearheaded group’s overall digital transformation journey.

Previously, Puneet worked with Paytm as its Senior Vice President (2014 – 2020) where he built its Payment Gateway business from scratch and led the journey to market leadership. Puneet was among the earliest person in Paytm’s payments business and drove its trajectory from a few hundred transactions more than a billion transactions with value running into billions of dollars.

Puneet started his career in management consulting where he worked for more than 6 years with global firms like Accenture and Diamond Management and  Tech Consultants advising firms in areas such as New Product Launch, Revenue Enhancement, Sales Strategy, Consumer Experience etc. helping organizations drive their growth and business transformation.
