Adam Bird is a Senior Partner and the Global Leader of McKinsey’s Consumer Tech & Media practice. He advises the top management of the most disruptive and disrupted companies on their most critical business issues.
His 25+ years of client work in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia has spanned all major media, entertainment and consumer technology segments, including: advertising, cable and satellite distribution, broadcasting, consumer publishing, gaming, filmed entertainment, music, streaming, and sports.
Prior to McKinsey, Adam was a Senior Partner with Booz Allen Hamilton (sold to the Carlyle Group), the Managing Director of the Global Consumer and Media practices, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors.
Adam has an honors degree from the College of Social Studies (Economics, History, Government and Philosophy) from Wesleyan University. He moved back to Europe over two decades ago to co-found an advisory firm (sold to Cap Gemini).
