Aroosh Chopra serves as the Owner of the prestigious Punjab Kesari Group of Newspapers. With a wealth of experience of over 13 years in the media industry, Aroosh has played a pivotal role in the success of Punjab Kesari since assuming the responsibilities of a Director within the organisation.

He is a 4th generation member of the family which is known for their sacrifices in the country’s freedom struggle and their fight against terrorism in which his great grand father Lala Jagat Narain, his grand father’s elder brother as well as 64 members of their organisation had lost their lives while fighting for the freedom of press during terrorism days of punjab in the 80’s and 90’s.

Aroosh is well-equipped with a solid educational background, he specialised and graduated from the US in Journalism and Corporate Communications, from Southern Methodist University, based in Dallas,Texas.

His grand father Padam Shri Vijay Chopra and father Shri Amit Chopra have been at the forefront of the fight against terrorism and actively work towards social welfare of the people.

Aroosh is fully involved in editorial and marketing departments of the group’s four publications which are Punjab Kesari, Navodaya Times, Jagbani & Hind Samachar (spread across 6 states and 2 union territories).

He continues to invest his time in improving the overall content quality in print, and innovates in the space of digital and social media environment, by connecting with the youth of today and making significant strides in the dynamic field of media and communications.
