Chris Waiting is Chief Executive of The Conversation, a non-profit news publisher that works with academics to share their research, expertise and insight in an accessible way with a mass audience. It operates a network of 8 editions around the world with a combined monthly readership of more than 70 million.

Chris joined The Conversation in May 2018. He previously worked for the Associated Press as Director of Strategy & Development and for the BBC as Chief of Staff where he advised the COO and Director-General. He has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School.
