Chua Chin Hon is Lead, Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Solutions for Mediacorp News Group. He was formerly a supervising editor at TODAY and before that bureau chief in China and the United States with The Straits Times. He made a career transition to data science in 2018, and worked at a local start-up before returning to Mediacorp in 2021.

In his current role, he works with teammates in the News AI team as well as research institutions, start-ups and tech companies to prototype, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions for Mediacorp’s multi-lingual newsrooms. Chin Hon is currently focused on two areas: content verification platforms/technology, and text-based AI projects, both in the Generative AI and “legacy” space.
