Ivar Krustok is a media technologist and entrepreneur with over eight years of experience leading data and AI transformation in one of the Baltic region’s largest media groups. As Chief AI & Innovation Officer at Delfi Meedia, Estonia’s largest media group operating 12 brands across newspapers, magazines, live streaming and events and reaching 21% of the Estonian online population as digital subscribers, he built a comprehensive AI infrastructure including live cross-language translation tools, an in-house ChatGPT-style toolkit trained on 25 years of archives, and AI-powered reporting that replaces complex dashboards with text-based summaries.

Ivar progressed through Delfi over eight years, from Head of Product Development and Analytics to Head of Data Science and IT before assuming his most senior role. He is now Co-Founder at Synapi, bringing his expertise in media AI to a new venture. He also serves as a startup mentor at Tehnopol and a board member of IAB Baltics.
