After completing his dual studies to become an industrial engineer, Lars Peters began working as an assistant to the management at Prinovis Dresden. He then developed energy supply concepts for this location as a project engineer. After a thematic stopover in lean management and as head of job control in finishing department at Prinovis Itzehoe, he took over responsibility for energy management at Bertelsmann’s gravure printing plants in 2013. Within the energy management, he is responsible for energy procurement, energy management systems and energy regulations. In addition, Lars Peters is responsible as environmental and climate protection coordinator for the entire Bertelsmann Printing Group for environmental data collection and coordination of sustainability issues.

At the end of 2022, the area of ​​responsibility for energy management was expanded to include the entire Bertelsmann Printing Group.
