Lennert van Mens, together with a colleague leads the ESG & Sustainable Finance Solutions Team at Commerzbank, which provides our Corporate Clients with tailored advice and banking solutions on the cross-point of ESG, sustainability, strategy and finance. Previously, Lennert co-headed the ESG & Sustainability Implementation-Project for the Corporate Clients Division of Commerzbank, and worked on strategy projects for e.g. digitalization and interdisciplinary cooperation. Strategic transformation and cooperation have been recurring themes throughout his career: He started at ING in the Netherlands in 2000, working in various Relationship Management, Business Development and Leveraged Finance roles. In 2007, he joined General Electric Capital in Germany, to help build a leading platform for Leveraged Finance & Private Equity financing in the DACH region.
