Toshio Machida has served as Managing Executive Officer of Nikkei since March 2022, and is responsible for ‘Scout Asia’ business, which started as a Nikkei-FT’s synergy project in digital B2B arena. Prior to the current position, he was in charge of developing various digital content startups in Nikkei, after having experience as editor-in-chief of Nikkei Online Tech-Section, Silicon Valley Bureau Chief. Joined Nikkei as a business journalist in 1986.
