Ulbe Jelluma

Executive Director of Print Power Europe

Ulbe Jelluma is the Executive Director of Print Power Europe, the initiative promoting the use of printed media for use in integrated advertising and retail campaigns. Printed media include newspapers, magazines, direct mail, door drops, books, (large format) posters, signage and other material printed on paper, vinyl, polyester, textile or other substrates.

Print Power addresses the users of print media – agencies and advertisers – via in-house presentations, conferences, the website printpower.eu, LinkedIn, Twitter and a monthly newsletter. The key message of Print Power is the, often ignored, effectiveness of printed media as a stand-alone channel or as part of an integrated campaign.

Ulbe is running Print Power since the start in 2009. As a marketing consultant and former advertising agency head he has an excellent understanding of what brands, advertising & media agencies need. Having worked for publishers, printers, paper & (digital) printer equipment manufacturers he has the knowledge it takes to talk about the future of print media.

Ingi Rafn Olafsson

Ingi Rafn Olafsson

Ingi Rafn Olafsson comes from Iceland. He studied Newspaper Operations management at RIT in Rochester and later did an MBA in Edinburgh, Scotland. His contact with WAN-IFRA started in 1997 already when he was still a student measuring samples for the Color Quality Club. He was the ad-production director for Morgunbladid Newspaper in Iceland. In recent years he chaired the continuing education of graphic media employees in Iceland.
