  • Culture and the environment.

How environment and climate change coverage is different from other stories

  • Data, and where to get it.
  • Attribution – what can, and cannot, be proven, and how to work with it.
  • Blind spots (gender, marginalised communities) and how to control for them.
  • The use of infographics for climate data

There will be break out groups to discuss story ideas based on data, and group presentations. The workshop will conclude with comments on the presentations and takeaways.

Target Audience:

Editors, Sub Editors, Digital Editors, News Editors, Science Reporters, journalists and others who are willing to know more about reporting on environment and climate change.
