Process control in the closed automatic control loop is a step towards industrialised production.
Ifra already carried out research projects in the past for the newspaper industry on the topic of “closed loop”, as well as on automatic control of the colour printing quality or CTP production. It is interesting to observe the application of this approach to the entire newspaper production.
Therefore the project “Create a vision of an integrated, closed loop-controlled and intelligent newspaper production system from data input to distribution, which ensures standardised high-quality and industrialised production” was carried out.
The project analyses the current situation, identifies development potentials and creates a vision of what could be expected of an integrated production system in the future.
