European Printers Summit

An exclusive, invitation-only gathering


I understand there is no fee to register. I would like to know what is included in the registration.
This event is free of charge but your commitment to meetings and in-person attendance is required / mandatory. We will set a meeting tool, where you need to pre-confirm and commit to a minimum of five meetings with our exhibiting print suppliers. Included in the registration are the entrance to our in-person event with roundtable discussions, catering and a get-together on the first evening to celebrate our first European Printers Summit.

Why is participation limited and ‘by invitation’ only?
We would like to create an exclusive event, where a small part of the printing industry can come together and meet each other for the first time in two years. You will have the chance to meet and to talk to everyone in a relaxed environment during the two day event.

What is the criteria you use to decide if a person is invited?
We will choose professionals who are working actively in the field of publishing, technical production or in procurement (Director level) and who are committing to pre-book and attend a minimum of five meetings with our exhibiting print suppliers.

Safety and Health Measurements

What are the Covid-19 precautions for the event?
We will set up measurements according to the safe and healthy protocol of the state of Hessen. We will work closely together with the venue and the “Gesundheitsamt” (local health authority).

For entry we require an antigen-test (not older than 24 hours) from people who are vaccinated and a pcr-test (not older than 48 hours) from people who are not vaccinated.

While it’s unlikely that masks will be legally required indoors, we will remain supportive of any attendee who wishes to wear a mask. We will provide masks and hand-disinfection throughout the event.

Am I required to be fully vaccinated to attend the event?
To attend the event, you will have to show a valid negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery.

Social Functions

Besides the round tables and meetings with suppliers, is there a networking evening?
The first day of the event will finish with a cocktail networking reception, which is scheduled to finish early enough for you to join your peers for dinner or just explore the city of Frankfurt.

Meetings with Suppliers

How are the meetings with suppliers organised?
You will receive a confirmation email 1,5 weeks before the event with a link to a meeting tool, where you can select which of our exhibition suppliers you would like to meet. WAN-IFRA will book the meetings and send you the meeting schedule a few days before the event.

How many meetings do I need to attend?
A minimum of five meetings is required/mandatory for each invited participant.

Is it possible to arrange additional meetings than the ones that are prescheduled?
We encourage participants to schedule as many meetings as desired to make the most of the experience.


Do participants need to prepare a presentation?
No presentation will be made in these discussions, but we appreciate factual information and constructive discussions in order to build bridges between attendees.

What about the takeaways from the discussions?
Takeaways will be published later in a memorandum for attendees.

What language is the Summit presented in?
The working language in the Summit will be English.
