The first catalyst kicks off in Europe and initiates a global programme of eight catalysts in four regions. World News Day, a global initiative by the news media industry to show the value of journalism, will this year feature a new campaign, Choose Truth, created by South Africa’s Daily Maverick. World News Day is marked on 28 September each year. The audience-focused day of awareness highlights the value and need for strong journalism.

A panel of experts and technical professionals is evaluating newspaper and magazine samples for the 16th edition of the ICQC contest based on rigorous ISO standards and visual appeal from the readers’ perspective. The results will be announced by 31 July and the Star Club members will be announced thereafter.
2024-07-12. WAN-IFRA kicked off its new leg of Artificial Intelligence Forums with the India edition on 8-9 July. The two-day event was held in Bengaluru and hosted about 100 news media executives.
