New revenue stream: In 2023, in an effort to diversify it's revenue stream and introduce a new service offering to its reader base, The Daily Star introduced ‘Keeron’ - an upskilling platform.

Ever since its launch, ‘Keeron’ has experienced a 30% month-on-month active user growth and has introduced both ‘on-demand’ and ‘LIVE’ courses on its platform. More than 50% of the visitors in the Keeron website come from The Daily Star’s website and contribute to 35% of Keeron’s total revenue. The upskilling platform currently has a base of 10,000 active users and the goal is to push the user base to 100,000 by the end of 2024. A case study.
