Since 2019, he has been the CEO of Telefónica Hispam, responsible for all the assets and Company operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and Mexico.
He has been linked to the telco sector since 1998. In 2002 he chaired Telecom, a state company telecommunications, leading the process of transformation and creation of ColombiaTelecommunications S.A. ESP as the new operator of telecommunications services in charge of the Colombian State, as well as the subsequent linking of Telefónica as a partner strategic in 2006.
