The Washington Post was the most popular newspaper in the United States last year on Twitter, according to a recent study. The New York Times was a close second, followed by USA Today.

Just one year after the launch of their online title, The Croydon Citizen in the U.K. has launched a print version. The concept is somewhat unique in that it is a news magazine written by citizens for citizens … and (partly) funded by citizens!

Freedom Communications to launch LA Register in 2014

Aaron Kushner, the CEO of Freedom Communications, told the Orange County Register last week that he will launch a new daily, called the Los Angeles Register in early 2014. Guardian starts long-form journalism print project

The Guardian is experimenting with long-form journalism.
